Surgical removal of moles lasts around 15-30 minutes. The lesion is mapped and the skin area will be cleansed and numbed with local anesthetic, such as lidocaine. • Stronger peeling medicine (salicylic acid): prescription-strength wart medications work by removing layers of a wart a little bit at a time.
• Minor surgery: your dermatologist can cut away the bothersome tissue. However, this may leave a scar in the treated area.

Cryotherapy is the use of extremly cold liquid nitrogen to freeze and remove skin lesions including viral warts, skin tags, (seborrhoeic keratosis) and actinic keratosis.
