Wash the skin area with soap and water and apply a cool compress. If needed use a hydrocortisone cream. In case of intensive pain, your doctor can prescribe you paracetamol or ibuprofen.
If you experience difficulty breathing, swelling of the lips, eyelids or throat, dizziness, faintness or confusion, rapid heartbeat, nausea, cramps or vomiting, please seek emergency care.
To remove a tick use a set of tweezers, grasp the tick as close as you can to your skin’s surface and pull straight up and away from the skin, applying steady pressure.
